Notice what God has done.
Sometimes we recognize God’s work while it is happening. Sometimes we see it only when we look back. Telling our stories helps us notice His faithfulness and remember it.
Why Share?
Testimony is not about drawing attention to ourselves. It is about noticing what God has done, remembering His faithfulness, giving thanks, encouraging others, and helping people see Him more clearly.
Psalm 107:2
“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.”
Why testimony matters
Sometimes we recognize God’s work while it is happening. Sometimes we see it only when we look back. Telling our stories helps us notice His faithfulness and remember it.
When we look back and name the ways God has led, provided, forgiven, taught, or sustained us, yesterday’s faithfulness becomes courage for tomorrow.
A simple, honest testimony may be exactly what another person needs to hear. Your experience can remind someone else that they are not alone.
When people regularly speak about God’s goodness, gratitude becomes more natural, faith becomes more visible, and communities become stronger.
A testimony is not about making the storyteller impressive. It is about making God’s faithfulness more visible.
Psalm 66:16
“Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.”
Revelation 12:11
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
Mark 5:19
“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.”
Psalm 78:4
“We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.”
The heart of Say So
Every story is personal, but its lasting value is that it reveals something about the character and faithfulness of God.
We share not because our lives are extraordinary, but because God is faithful in ordinary lives.
A simple rhythm
Look for God’s activity in ordinary life. Sometimes you see it immediately. Sometimes you recognize it only later.
Do not let God’s faithfulness disappear into the past. Naming what happened helps keep His goodness in view.
Tell someone what God has done. Your story may help another person recognize His work in their own life.
You do not need a dramatic testimony or polished words. Simply tell the truth about what happened and what you are beginning to see.
